Mexican Seafood Restaurant Approved For Former Sweet Basil Cafe Space

Rand Rd., which was last home to Sweet Basil Cafe. Huerta is planning to turn the space into Islas Veracruz, a Mexican style seafood restaurant. But the plan required the transfer of the cafe’s Special Use permit, and Huerta applied for a liquor license in order to be able to serve cocktails and other drinks.
